Bethany and Mike’s “Mexican Jungle Adventure” (aka their Unique Session)

When Bethany & Mike pictured their Radiant Unique Session I’m pretty sure the image in their heads did not consist of giant tarantulas, hundreds of bats, enormous stinging ants, or naked old ladies swimming in the water around them… but that’s what they got. I guess you never know what’s going to happen when you opt in for Radiant...

Bethany and Mike’s dream wedding in Playa Del Carmen, Mexico

The more Bethany and Mike searched for their perfect Arizona wedding venue, the more frustrated they became.  When they finally found the place they wanted only to later learn that it was going bankrupt, they said, “screw it, we’re going to Mexico”! So while choosing Playa Del Carmen, Mexico as the location for their destination...

All dressed up and just as wet… Katy and Shaun’s Hawaiian Unique Session

This was a photo shoot that went from normal to really wet very fast.  In fact, this whole session was high speed, so I’m going to stay true to the feel of it and relay the blog the same way.  So here’s the story behind Katy and Shaun’s Unique Session… short and sweet (well short...

I would get Sharon to swim in her dress in an ocean so blue! 😀

Now how much is the trip to Hawaii? 😛ReplyCancel

Beautiful pictures. The dress will not be ruined by swimming in the ocean. It is what you do after you get out of the dress. Rinse it out real good and let it dry completely before wrapping it up fir the trip home. Some brides have said it makes the material feel much softer because it is not as stiff.
I hope to find a lady who will do this with me.ReplyCancel

Thanks for the compliments! Yes, or at least it was right around Kailua. It believe it was at Kaneohe Bay.ReplyCancel

Cocktails, Dinner, and 16″ guns . . . Katy & Shaun’s Pre-Wedding Events Part 2.

I (Scottie) remember going over to Katy & Shaun’s house after their engagement session a few months ago. Shaun was so excited to tell us some big news . . . they were having their Grooms Dinner on the U.S.S Missouri. THE U.S.S MISSOURI!! This battleship is an amazing piece of American history. It was...

  • […] Scottie is actually going to write about the final event (so it will be much shorter!) which is the Groom’s dinner that was held on deck of the U.S.S. Missouri.  If you do a quick scan of your brain to find your old high school history lessons (it’s right there past the lyrics to every Bon Jovi song ever written and the phone number to your secret crush’s parent’s house) you’ll find that this is the ship on which the Japanese soldiers stood 65 years ago when they signed the document of their surrender at the end of WWII.  It’s a huge piece of history that most people tour during the day… but we got to party on it at night!  Of course an experience like this doesn’t slip past us without some once in a lifetime photos coming out of it (and I didn’t sleep through this one!)!  See the photos on our blog about the Groom’s Dinner HERE.
