If there was one thing I’d want you to know about Addie and Dan’s engagement session….
… it’s NOT that they are an amazingly stunning couple (though they are)…
… it’s NOT that they chose an amazing place for their session (though they did)…
… it IS that they themselves appear to be the actual definition of fun!
Can you tell?
Back to the other stuff too though.
Yes, as you can see they are in fact an amazingly stunning couple! But that’s just the beginning of it! They are the kind of couple that made Scottie and I jump up and down giddily as soon as we’d safely turned the corner away from them after our initial meeting. Yes, we were THAT excited to book them because we knew they’d be incredible people to work with and also because we secretly believed that they’d be our new best friends (whoops, not such a secret anymore!).
Our hopes and dreams of being friends were confirmed when they did indeed book us to shoot their wedding and we had an incredible engagement session with them!
And yes, as I mentioned, part of the reason it was soooo amazing was that they chose to do it at an amazing place. The Old LA Zoo at Griffith Park is just COOL!!! I mean where else can you stand in what used to be a lion’s cage and do THIS?!
Or this?
And where else can you find tagging that looks like THIS?!
(Well yes, in lots of places actually. But STILL, the Zoo is pretty amazing, right?!!).
But good luck finding HAIRSPRAY tagging anywhere other than here (where Addie and Dan did it)!
But seriously, look at how amazing, adorable, and hilarious these two are… did it really matter where they did their session? (major hint: the answer is no, because they would’ve looked fantastic and in love no matter where they did their session!)
However, I’m still really happy they chose the zoo because we couldn’t get enough of it…
… or of their hilarity…
… or of their adorability…
… or of their creativity…
… or of THEM!!!!
Addie and Dan, I think I’ve already said it like an embarrassing number of times in this post, but you guys are amazing. We really were so excited about the prospect of you guys choosing us to be a part of your wedding that we did a little jig in the middle of the street (so if any of you saw a giant with a red beard next to a girl with a full arm cast dancing in the streets of Santa Monica one night, no it was not a homeless couple looking for tips, it was us!).
We love you guys already and we can’t wait to see what adorability and hilarity you pull out on your wedding day. Even if you don’t try, you’ll still be the cutest couple there and we can’t wait to see it and to capture it for you and others to see forever! See you on your wedding day!
