Macaley's Sleepy Newborn Session (by Josh & Kelley)

You guys remember Kim and Jose from the library-centered maternity session Josh and I (Kelley) did with them right?  Well, just as I suspected, they had an absolutely adorable child.

Dear world, meet Macaley.

Isn’t she just the sweetest?

Josh and I sure think so.  And I’m pretty sure her parents are quite fond of her as well.

Seriously, every time they looked down at her during this session, they would both get huge grins on their faces.  It was the cutest thing!

Not only is Macaley adorable, she’s also an overall awesome newborn.

In fact, when Josh and I showed up for the shoot, Kim and Jose told us that Macaley slept for at least five hours the night before!  Now I don’t have any children, but I’m pretty sure that’s amazing for a newborn!

Even after five hours of sleep, Macaley still snoozed during most of the photoshoot.

Once she fell asleep, Kim said that she’d likely stay that way for a while, as she’s a pretty heavy sleeper.  Boy was she right!  Don’t believe me?  Here’s some proof:

We set her in a basket, and Macaley slept…

We dressed her up in a tutu, and Macaley slept…

We squeezed a little headband onto her head, and Macaley slept…

We took a walk over to the nursery, and Macaley slept.

For reals guys, this girl is a sleeping machine!

It wasn’t until the very end of our photo session that she decided she better wake up and let us know she was done being our model.

Kim and Jose, congratulations!  We’re so excited for both of you as you get to know, and get to love your new daughter more and more in the coming days.  Thank you so much for giving us the honor of capturing some of your first and most precious moments with her.
