Need a senior session? Radiant founders and owners, Scott & Breanna, would love to be a part of it! Here’s some of the work they’ve done with seniors!

Madison’s Beach Senior Session

Five years ago Madison’s mom called us and asked us to photograph her daughter’s senior session. Breanna and I (Scottie) knew right away that we loved working with both mom and daughter and were pretty excited that she had 3 more kids that would someday need senior sessions. A few years after that, her son was up to graduate and our other photography team at the time, Josh and Kelley, did an amazing job with his senior session, although I am really bummed that we didn’t get to shoot it. So I was very excited when we got a call from this same family to let us know that the 3rd kid, Madison, was graduating, and even more excited that they would be coming to So-Cal so that we could shoot her session on the beach! I had so much fun photographing Madison, this was one of my most enjoyable sessions ever.

Thank you both for coming out to California for your senior session! I loved it and I hope you had as much fun as I did!

Gabi’s End of an Era Senior Session (by Scott & Breanna)

When you see Gabi’s senior pictures, you will probably notice the same thing that Scottie and I (Breanna) noticed…gabi0031…this girl should be a model!gabi0024gabi0059gabi0047I’m not sure if that’s what her parents want to hear or not, but it’s true.gabi0049She’s not only tall and gorgeous but she was a complete natural in front of the camera!gabi0073gabi0038gabi0056gabi0088I asked her over and over again if she’d ever done modeling before because she just seemed to know what she was doing. Every time I asked, the answer was still no, but I still had a hard time believing it!gabi0058Maybe it’s just because Gabi’s grown up watching how her older brothers and sisters do it, since this will be the fourth and final senior photo session we’ve done for her family! We’ve figured out that Gabi was probably only nine years old when Scottie and I started photography, and likely still pretty close to that age when her oldest brother’s senior photos were taken! It feels like the end of an era!gabi0021I’m sure Gabi’s parents feel that way even more so as they get ready to watch their baby girl don her cap and gown for her graduation ceremony!gabi0028gabi0039I guess that’s why senior photos are so special in the first place, they mark both endings and new beginnings. They commemorate a major stage in life that’s about to transform into a new exciting and equally terrifying (maybe more so for the parents than the kids!) time in life.gabi0083gabi0080gabi0052It’s a very special thing and we’re so happy that we got to be a part of it not only for Gabi, but for all of her family!gabi0012gabi0037gabi0090Congrats, Gabi! We can’t wait to see what the future holds for you! A modeling career perhaps???gabi0089gabi0081Click to see the rest of Gabi’s End of an Era Senior Photos.gabi0076

Mason’s Sporty Senior Session (by Scott & Breanna)

If you know Mason at all, you are probably not very surprised by the title of this blog.

Sports are his life. Especially basketball.

I’m sure it is very difficult to balance life when you’re an incredible athlete who’s good with every piece of sporting equipment you lay hands on. But just as Mason is able to balance all his equipment in this photo, he’s able to balance all the sports in his life!

Since so much of his time is spent on the court, it only made sense to get some shots of Mason’s every day life in his senior photos!

After being court side for awhile, we decided it was time to get some non-basketball related photos for awhile, so we headed to one of our favorite spots to finish out the session, The Tempe Center for the Arts.

And we were glad we did! There’s SO much to shoot there! We could’ve shot all day!

And in fact, we sort of did considering we went on into the night. And again, we were glad we did! How else would we have gotten some of these photos of the amazing lighting that’s to be seen around there!

If you can’t tell, Scottie and myself (Breanna) are big fans of Mason’s senior pictures! Mason, we hope you love them as much as we do! We had a great time working with you! Congrats on your upcoming graduation!

P.S. In case you missed it, we also had the privilege of shooting Mason’s brother, Keegan’s, senior pictures a couple years back! Yes, this family has more than one multi-talented kid!

Riley’s Uber Cool Senior Session (by Scott & Breanna)

If you were to go into my (Breanna’s) head when I was a 6 year old little girl, dreaming of being super cool teenager, you would see that I was pretty much picturing myself being as cool as Riley.

Because she’s pretty much the coolest thing ever.

You know, there she is, just being her normal awesome self as she rides down her penny board alongside the San Clemente pier. See, now you wish you were as awesome as her too, right?!

More than just being really, really… OK REALLY cool, she also happens to be beautiful, adorable, and all other things that help make your pictures turn out great!

(You can’t help but being adorable if you’re a person who loves giraffes as much as she does!)

So while I’d like to say these pics are great because we’re such incredible photographers, I’m sure we’d be overstating our role in it!

Oh and since I’ve gone on and on about her impeccable style and eye catching looks, let me stray away from the surfacy stuff and let you know that she also is an amazing person as a whole!

Just in the time we spent with her that day, we could immediately tell that she’s the kind of girl you want to be around. She was so fun and great to talk to in between her bike rides and skateboarding tricks (well, OK maybe not “tricks” per say!)!

Not to mention, she has some mad soccer skills and is headed off to college with a scholarship to prove it!

Riley, we had a lot of fun working with you and we wish you good luck in all you do. Plus, we hope you really kill it on the soccer field in college. Congrats and good luck!

Chloe’s Beachy Senior Session (by Scottie & Breanna)

I’m not sure what Chloe’s final graduating GPA will be, but I do know for a fact that she’s smart.

How do I know? Because she decided that having her senior photos taken on the beach in 70 degree weather was better than getting them done in her hometown in Arizona where it was 115 degrees!

See? She’s smart!

It actually was a fantastic idea! Chloe grew up vising San Clemente with her family each summer, so what better place to capture the memories as she moves on towards leaving her childhood behind?

The location also worked out well for us (Scottie & Breanna) since we did senior sessions for Chloe’s brothers when we lived in Arizona and now that we’ve moved out to California, we couldn’t have been happier to have her follow us out here for her session!

As you can see, my suspicions about Chloe’s high intelligence being reflected in her location choice, are correct. Because we got some AMAZING shots that only a Southern California beach can give you!

Along with those shots, came some great memories of times along the San Clemente pier captured!

Not to mention the one especially amazing memory of the trip out there that stands out above the rest because it was the time she had her senior photos taken!

Chloe, we hope you enjoy every second as you finish out your high school experience and head off towards new adventures! We are so happy you chose to do your session in California and that we got to be a part of it! Good luck on all you do in the future… especially on those volleyball skillz!

We look forward to seeing all the places you’ll be heading off to!
