Jen and Kenyon’s Countrified Fairytale Wedding (By Josh and Kelley)

When Jen and Kenyon sat down with Josh and me (Kelley) in the nearly unbearable Phoenix heat this summer and told us their wedding would be up North at X Diamond Ranch in October, it seemed like a dream.

You mean there’s a land where the sun isn’t constantly blistering hot and the leaves magically change color in the fall? I couldn’t believe it!

Then the day came, and even with all of the breathtaking fall colors and a comfortable temperature of around 70 degrees, it still felt unreal.

It was like a fairytale wedding, an extremely fun, boisterous, and countrified fairytale wedding!

I’m not even kidding, it was perfect! The girls all looked stunning, and they added a bit of country fun with their cowgirl boots (which did an impressive job at doubling as bedazzled flask holders).

The men were the epitome of manliness with their cowboy hats and blue jeans.

Don’t let that immense amount of manliness fool you though, these guys were all big goofballs when it came down to it.

And Kenyon may have shed a small (and very manly) tear or two when he saw his gorgeous bride for the first time.

Can you blame him though? Jen is, and certainly was on that day, a sight worthy of tears of happiness.

Although Kenyon got a sneak peak of his bride before the wedding, the first time their guests laid eyes on her was when she rode up the drive on a horse. Yes, I said horse!

Any woman who’s brave enough to ride a horse in her wedding dress scores extra awesome points in my book, and Jen did it with true country girl style!

As the night went on, the fun continued.

Guests enjoyed roasting and eating way too many s’mores (if there is such a thing as too many s’mores) and had fun snapping photos in the rustic photobooth.

Then, Jen invoked the help of a few bridesmaids in order to complete a quick wardrobe change that would allow her, and everyone else, to REALLY dance the night away!

I think it’s safe to say that this was a wedding for the the books… The books that end, “and they all lived happily ever after.”

Jen and Kenyon, thank you so much for letting Josh and me be a part of your amazingly special day! We wish you the best of luck and love as your countrified fairytale continues.

Oh my gosh! Can I borrow those boots, Jen?! Those are AMAZING! I just have to say that this is an incredible wedding and that it looks like Jen & Kenyon couldn’t have done a better job planning the most perfect wedding for themselves! It was beautiful! In fact, many of our friends have been talking about this wedding…both because of the amazingness of the wedding itself and because of the great photography involved. Your wedding’s famous! So good job (and congratulations) to the bride and groom… as well as to Josh and Kelley for doing such a great job capturing the story of the day! I felt like I was there… and I had a lovely time! 😉

    Much Love,
