April & Ryan let their bellies hang out.

When I started taking pictures, one thing I never even thought about was how deep it would take me into people’s lives!  There are only so many “jobs” (if you can call the fun we have work!) that allow you to watch families begin, bond, and grow… and we’re lucky enough to have one of...

beautiful, beautiful post, breanna! seriously. you articulated much of what i try to communicate to clients… be real. be you. the best pictures are the REAL ones. shop in your closet, not the mall. meet me at the playground you go to most, not the manicured park on the other side of town. let the kids go and go and have fun with them! let me capture THAT and we’ll all be happy!ReplyCancel

Shano sister love= SOO much fun!

If I didn’t wish I had a sister even half as bad as I do, after spending just a few minutes with the Shano’s, I still would’ve be back at my parents door double checking to make sure they are absolutely positive I don’t have a missing sister somewhere out there.  These girls have an...

Wes and Moriah returning to Radiant… with a tiny new addition!

Do you know Moriah? If you’ve lived in AZ for very long, the answer is probably “yes”.  It seems like Moriah knows everyone!  In fact, every time we show her wedding album at a bridal show, every other girl that stops by points to her photos and says “hey, I know her!” And to Moriah’s...

The Cottrells are our dream team.

We’ve recently been dreaming up a certain type of family session… and then someone called us up and asked us to shoot it!  I spent some time talking to Nicole about her vision for the session and the more we talked the more I realized that working with people like this is why I LOVE...

um, HECK YEAH they are your dream team. these ROCK. the pick of mom on the red couch with daughter up on her feet is the MONEY. bam. if that was the only shot you guys got, it would have been well worth the session (athough that is obviously not what has happened… these are all amazing)…. i think they should take down a few of the small (really cute) black frame pics on the wall and put a HUUUGGGEEE black framed print above their couch right there.ReplyCancel

Wow! These are just absolutely spectacular. You couldn’t have hit the nail more on the head with these photos. We will cherish these all of our lives, looking back upon the time when our children were small (and we were so young).

On top of all that, thank you, thank you for the wonderful things you wrote about us and our family–we love you guys just as much! Dinner and catch up soon!!!ReplyCancel

Fun with the Marcus Family

The best part of our job is definitely the amount of time we get to spend with amazing people.  And it is so fun when those people like us so much that they tell their friends about us!  That’s how we got connected with the Marcus family here (thanks Tracy!), and it was really fun...
