April & Ryan let their bellies hang out.

When I started taking pictures, one thing I never even thought about was how deep it would take me into people’s lives!  There are only so many “jobs” (if you can call the fun we have work!) that allow you to watch families begin, bond, and grow… and we’re lucky enough to have one of...

beautiful, beautiful post, breanna! seriously. you articulated much of what i try to communicate to clients… be real. be you. the best pictures are the REAL ones. shop in your closet, not the mall. meet me at the playground you go to most, not the manicured park on the other side of town. let the kids go and go and have fun with them! let me capture THAT and we’ll all be happy!ReplyCancel

Jon and Erin’s “dead skeleton, roaming cow, mariachi fun, beating heart” wedding!

The first time Jon and Erin flew down from Oregon and met with us about possibly using Radiant for their wedding photography, we totally forgot that we were in a meeting!  There we were sitting on the porch at Starbucks enjoying the sun (since Erin craves the rays while living in the cloudy northwest!), sipping...

looks great guys! 🙂 what’s your light setup at receptions and the outdoor twilight?

and did you buy someone’s set of actions? I’m shopping for those right now…

    peace,ReplyCancel

Thanks Brian! We use a single Speed light on a light stand on manual power. For a couple twilight shots we added a second speed light behind the couple for rim light and some flare. The only actions we have bought are Totally Rad Actions and they are great.ReplyCancel

Guys. Seriously. You have outdone yourselves. I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again: You. Are. Awesome. Photographers.

I love love love these. Breanna – your words and thoughts never fail to make me laugh and touch my heart at the same time.
Scottie – your eye is unbelievable.
You guys are so inspiring to me not only creatively but also because of your heart for your clients. You both are truly servant-hearted (don’t deny it B! there are other ways to serve than doing dishes!)

Can’t wait to see you sometime soon!

    Miss you both!

Hello, beautiful wedding! I love the rustic theme, and I am also planning my wedding for June of 2011. Is it possible to find out where the couple purchased their day of the dead cake topper?ReplyCancel

  • EmilyJanuary 11, 2012 - 7:00 pm

I would also like to know where they got te day of the deal toppersReplyCancel

  • BreannaJanuary 12, 2012 - 4:37 pm

Unfortunately, they got the cake toppers from a street vendor in Mexico that they have no way of tracking down. Sorry! Good luck finding similar ones though!ReplyCancel

Just wanted to know if you are able to tell me where the wedding cake topper came from. I have a client who loves it so much she wants it for her wedding in October in Australia.ReplyCancel

    • BreannaMarch 26, 2014 - 6:05 pm

I wish I could answer that for you but we have had this question many times in the past and the bride and groom have said they got it from a street vendor in Mexico and have no way of tracking him down. So sorry I couldn’t be of more help! Good luck finding a similar one!ReplyCancel

Seeing Light: a Radiant Photography Class

We finally have a good answer to that ever so popular question, “Do you guys offer photography classes?” Well I think we at least have a better answer than our old one which was, “uh, um, I…. maybe?  Eventually, I think….. hmm” (Some people call that stuttering, we call it being so busy that we...

I am bummed I will be out of town. I hope it goes really well and you have a good turn out. I am hoping that you will have another class in the near future so I can make it to that one. Have fun!ReplyCancel

Add my email to let me know if you do another class. Not sure my camera is “fancy enough” but would love to sit in. So impressed with your pics from my son’s (Brandon and Brit’s) wedding! Sounds like fun!! Still openings today?ReplyCancel

Linzie and Chris get married at a beautiful place on a beautiful day!

By now you probably all know that one of my weaknesses is my inability to condense anything I’m trying to say.  Write a 10 page essay?  Sure no problem!  Summarize my thoughts into a single paragraph? Forget it.  However, I’m going to attempt to be short and sweet on my words with this blog (you’ll...

Birthday Blisters, Chiweenies, and so on… our life.

As much as we want to let everyone in our personal lives a little, that doesn’t really happen very often during our busy season… mostly because we don’t really have personal lives during our busy season! Ha!  But low and behold, we actually do take time off on major holidays and special occasions, if you...
